As the brand teams go to motion designer and animator for 19 months, I helped build a $15Billion brand’s library and identity through ad campaigns, motion toolkits and core branding.

I created over 200 unique assets to be used in brand campaigns, trade shows, and conferences.

Okta utilizes the assets I made across its 6,000+ employees to deliver their products to over 18,800 customers.

Results

Oktane

Developed the 3D facets that represent the Aura in Okta’s logo from scratch based on the design teams Figma concepts. The 3D facets are a core element utilized across Okta’s branding.

Brand Campaign

Created animations for SFO placements, Digital Mobile Billboards and explored different methods for animating the Okta facets and typography.

The largest brand awareness campaign in Okta’s 15 year history shown in the US, the UK, France, Japan, Australia, and India.

Showcase

Created the 3D Aura Facets in a brightly lit environment for the first time for an event called Okta Showcase. Explored various ways text can interact with the facets.

Sales Kickoff Events

Explored and animated various assets for SKO FY24 and FY25 an annual sales event hosted by Okta.

Abstract Graphics

Over 144 animations were created for global use in Okta's branding.

Behind The Scenes

I utilized Cinema4D, Redshift Render Engine, Octane Render Engine, Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects to bring it all together.
